So...this is the fifth consecutive day of blogging! That might just be a record for me. I am terribly lazy when it comes to all things English; grammar, writing, spelling; you name it, I don't like.
However, I am a person of habit.
Once I determine to start something, I like to see it through to the end, no matter how hard it is. You could call me diligent, or you could call me stubborn. I'm sure I'm both.
Habits are weird things aren't they? A routine or act so ingrained in our brain that we often follow it automatically or a the very least can't get the "next thing" done without first finishing the "first thing".
Habits can be very handy to a forgetful person like me. I have a million things going on in my head at any given time, I'm constantly afraid I'll forget some important thing I meant to do. Having a habit ingrained in my brain to do certain things helps me to ground some of the necessary acts in my head so I don't lose them or forget.
I wonder if you have to be a certain age to make a habit? Probably not. Even newborn babies can be put on a sleeping and eating schedule.
Animals can have habits too!
Now I'm curious what the definition of Habit is:
hab·it
ˈhabət/
noun
Well a bank in Spain just ate my sisters card. Rats. How does it even do that anyways?
Annoying thoughts.
